Business Development Executive
Build client relationships and develop new business opportunities across Sustainacert’s certification, inspection, verification, sustainability and training services.
What you’ll do
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities and prospective client relationships.
- Understand client needs and introduce relevant Sustainacert services.
- Coordinate with technical teams to prepare proposals and respond to enquiries.
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline and follow up on active opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in B2B business development, sales or account management.
- Clear communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence preparing proposals and managing client follow-up.
- Certification, inspection, sustainability or professional-services experience is an advantage.
- A proactive, organised and target-aware approach.
02 / TECHNICALFreelance · Assignment-based
Freelance GHG Auditors
Support greenhouse gas inventory assessment and verification assignments through robust review of data, methodologies, calculations and supporting evidence.
What you’ll do
- Review organisational GHG inventories, reporting boundaries and activity data.
- Assess calculation methodologies, emission factors and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate evidence, identify gaps and document findings objectively.
- Contribute to audit or verification reports and assignment records.
- Work with project teams to complete agreed assignment activities.
Relevant experience
- Experience in GHG accounting, carbon management, auditing or verification.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14064-3.
- Familiarity with the GHG Protocol and organisational emissions reporting.
- Ability to assess quantitative data and maintain clear audit trails.
- Relevant auditor, verifier or GHG professional credentials are an advantage.
